Interesting!!! Still can be found here, though the CFL (Compact Florescent Lamp) is quite popular. My amazement with LED technology was with a Canon scanner, even power by the computer USB port, but no "warm up" time and the colors, really nice, compared to florescent bulb scanners!

Oh, yeah, radio - they uses these special bulbs at radio station studios! :)
