Hi John, The practice of payola has actually existed since the invention of the phonograph and probably before. Yes, there is still payola today but its not visible to the extent that it was in times past. You should be able to listen to the podcast. It's an .mp3. You can either click on the file to open it or hit save and download it from your hard drive. Conditions in music publishing which existed BEFORE 1955 were actually the impetus for the '59 - '60 congressional investigations. Have a good one... Bob
