Thanks for "coming forward" and introducing yourself, Rick. I've seen your "Myer disks" in the gift shop of the National Cryptologic Museum at Fort Meade, MD, and I can vouch for the quality of your work. Old AJM himself would have been envious. As was observed long ago about the replica firearms, they're generally better much better made, and of superior metal, than the originals. (As for music -- especially woodwinds -- the 1860s construction and lack of standard pitch stand out in modern "authentic" recordings on period instruments -- the sound is probably superior to anything heard by the ears of the mid-1800s.)
