Message Detail:
Excellent, Tom. By odd coincidence, I have just this morning been re-reading Eric and J.D.'s "Plenty of Blame to Go Around," concentrating on their chapters recapping the pro and con arguments about Stuart "passing through" or "around" Hooker, etc., etc. [What drew me back was the realization that at least one of Stuart's three brigades (Fitz Lee's) had a SigSgt ... evidence of brigade-level organic sig capability, which we've discussed ... and culling through what I might have on Hampton (nothing that early) or Chambliss (WHF Lee) (nil). ]
