Message Detail:
In Brown's, he states that a telegraph line was installed from "Frizellburg"(where is that?) to Little Round Top and the effort was completed around 11:00 P:M on July 1st. Was this documented in the OR's and was the line for a Beardslee or USMT telegraph station? Also, was it in use for the entire duration of the battle. Other places mentioned were Union Mills, Manchester, Hqrs. on Taneytown Rd. Anyone know where these locations are on any existing map? Also, did he mean Meade's Hqrs near the Widow Leister's House on the Taneytown Rd? Any help will be greatly appreciated as always. Thanks,
Ray Wemple
