Subject: Tying the Knots @ Tug BALTIMORE'S 100th |
![]() Hi Fred, Michael Pollock of Silver Spring, MD is your knot tying contact for the October 21-22, 2006 Steam Tug BALTIMORE Birthday Bash also being held in conjunction with the Port of Baltimore's Tricentennial celebrations. Michael is also affiliated with the IGKT. Are you affiliated as well? Are you residing near Baltimore Fred or will you be coming from out-of-town? I guess while I am asking, do you have a ready-to-set up travelling display or will you be joining in with others? Do you have Michael's particulars or should I fwd them? Knot Tyer Vince Brennan of Philadelphia was wanting to be with us but we have been told (and am saddened to hear) that he might not make it in October. Thanks for contacting us. It will be displays and demonstrations like yours that will bring the Baltimore citizentry and the maritime industry closer to-gether one more time. We hope that our free-to-the-public outing this October Birthday party will be the capstone event of the Port of Baltimore's Tricentennial year long offerings. We are most pleased to know that you are willing to come alongside and share your talents with old timers as well as the most recent harvests upon the shores and tributaries of Chesapeake Bay Country. Away All Lines! |
