Subject: BMI Matching Tug Grant

Message Detail:
Hi Doug,

The time s they are a changin'. I was just watching a You Tube about Locust Point (link included below) and at the very tail end of the video saw an very old, but freshly painted, Baltimore Museum of Industry sign.

In the place which once said "Home of the Steam Tug Baltimore" now reads "Baltimore Museum of Industry - the museum that works"

I would have rather had them paint in the words:

"Preserving Our City's Everyday Treasures" as in ARTifact Steam Tug BALTIMORE.

It seems that the pier, at which this National Historic Landmark tug is moored, grows further and further away from BMI's four-walled operation every day.

I'd rather be corrected, and pleasantly surprised that my assumption was incorrect, but everything has been a military secret for sometime now, and, as far as I can tell, the 1906 Steam Tug BALTIMORE still languishes at her moorings.
