Subject: Tugfest Agenda is Filling Out |
|
The upcoming August 2-3 Tugfest event sounds like it is gaining momentum as each day passes. We see by your latest up-date to the welcome page blurb that event details have expanded so as to be: "Focused around the central theme of "tug boats" will be activities, food and music directly related to the maritime environment." Since the wording has changed ever so slightly on the "ALL FREE - ALL DAY" I guess food isn't going to be ... well, - free. No problem. Frankly, I was wondering how you all were going to swing such a freebie and still have a fund-raiser event. One question thought. If I broke up your sentence above so that it would read: "Focused around the central theme of "tug boats" will be... food... directly related to the maritime environment." ... could we then assume that we are to expect a seafood-festival within a festival? Will there also be live (various periods/era) "music directly related to the maritime environment."? Will you be announcing the names of the groups or creating cyber-links to their websites prior to the event? This event sounds very exciting! I hope to see more event details at this forum discussion board and maybe something posted at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Forum too, if you get the time? With an event billing stating "all day - all free" and applying to touring the museum for free as well, I believe this latest event will be nothing short of a smashing success. Standby All Lines!
