Steve,

Launched in 1913 as the Q.A. GILLMORE. this coal-fired steam tug is part of Preservationist Wally Randolph efforts with the Northeastern Maritime Historical Foundation.

It would be great if the GILLMORE could see it's way to working in tandem with the BALTIMORE during a few of the 150th aniversary series events of the American Civil War coemorative slated to begn in 2011.

A little coal, a little water and a little heat and the wheel turns. Now about that deck gun....
