I've seen the recent change from the older 2006 'list of accomplishments' to the...

"Calendar of Events for 2007 Steam Tug Baltimore Exhibits and/or Appearances"

... which now shows an excellent action image of one of the former meets of tug boat races in New York Harbor.

The date listed was September 2nd. Were any of the Steam Tug BALTIMORE'S crew able to attend the New York based fling? I know that the BALTIMORE'S 'standing crew' picnic was to have occurred on the same day as the races.

The Baltimore-built but NYC-based 1907 Tug PEGASUS was to have celebrated her 100th during the September 2nd races and open house. Any news on what may have happened? Any images of that event and/or of the picnic too?

PS Might there be a way to let visitors know when main site data has changed. Bringing back the welcome page scrolling marque header might work. Just a thought...
