Subject: Capsizing of SS NANTUCKET |
|
Derrick? Did they use a derrick to right the SS NANTUCKET? All kidding aside did you notice all of the flotsum (or was that jetsom) floating on the surface in the orignal tread posting? Sorry... i mean the photo shown in the tread. By Jove! That incident would have given Steve Becker, the head of Baltimore City's Solid Waste Marine Operations manager a run for his money, wouldn't it? What a mess. Shifting to a more tidy subject.... Love the changes you and Bob are continually making to the web site. It is going to be very productive to include the scrolling marquee. The site content is becoming a bit overwheming with all of the images and stories of late. Now what special effort might it take to have some of our lurkers converted into site-discussion-posters? We know you are out there 'cause we can see your shoes sticking out from under that big 'ol hat. Don't trip over the hat brim else you might turn turtle ---> its a sea term.... look it up then look back to the image of the SS NANTUCKET. Away all lines! No WAIT! Better keep that after spring line secured til we swing out a bit more from pierside. Wouldn't want to turn turtle now would we? Grins For All,
