Subject: Repair of Riveted Steel Hull, Seeking Advice Concern'g

Message Detail:
Hi Mick,

Mark Ruhl is slated to give riveting demonstrations as part of the tug's 100th birthday party this coming October. I'm sure that the gent Bob mentioned in his last to you - Steve Heaver - will be able to put you in touch with Mark. Steve also knows lots of others in the shipbuilding industry like Project Liberty Ship mainstay and friend, Captain Brian Hope of the JOHN W. BROWN. The BROWN, which is also in Baltimore Harbor, recently underwent a major riveting session in Cleveland Ohio a few years ago. We forget how many thousand but Brian has the number available.

Project Liberty Ship has their own website too.

Are you laid up in Eire? Inquiring tugboaters wanna know,

Best Regards,
Walt
