Subject: Capt John A Robb Obit

Message Detail:
Tom,

Didn't know if your wife has the obituary of Captain Robb.

eath of John A. Robb.

Baltimore, Monday, Jan 28.

John A. Robb, the oldest ship-builder in this city, died this morning [January 28th, 1867] in the 76th year of his age. Mr. Robb celebrated his golden wedding anniversary only a few days ago.

New York Times. Jan 29th 1867, p.8.

PS -- New Omnibuses. -- The proprietors of the old line of omnibuses yesterday put upon the route five elegant new coaches, which they have just had built in this city. We cannot perceive that they are not equal in every respect to those built at the north. We notice that two of them are named after two of the old residents of the Eastern section of the city, Capt. John A. Robb and Capt. James Fraizer.
