These are great times we live in - better-off career girls for one night stands and fun weekends away, or you can settle down with someone who isn't going to give you grief.

No man needs to feel the moral or financial burden of female dependency these days unless he chooses it. By taking away the social stigma of playing the field, women have made it OK for men to do what they do best. Women can have it all, but men, you don't have to hang around while they're doing it. Don't sit there while she moans about how hard it is for her to balance everything, just leave. There are simply loads of women out there who are desperate for any sort of attention. 40% of graduate women will hit their 40s childless - so how can they complain that you're not committing? In the age of femme-driven "me, me, me" and lifestyle choices, men shouldn't think twice about reverting to an age-old stereotype and playing the field twice as well as women. If you want kids, fine - but you can do it at 70, so what's the rush?

And if you see a remnant of the pathetic New Man culture pushing his passive nonsense, give him a kick. It might even do the wimp some good.
