You're right.

I missed the Searchers. I mentioned Dusty...but added a caveat that she had a hit on the US charts (as a member of the 'Springfields') before Beatlemania/The British Invasion began, thus she was not a 'newcomer' at that point in history.

So there were indeed 4 UK acts...but 3 of which fit within the context of my observation. So I'll take 1 demerit instead of two, if I may.

How I missed the Searchers, I have no explanation...except to say that anyone who listens to Bob Mathers is sure to catch a misnomer or error having to do with the numbers.

Wish it warn't so, but it is.
