Subject: Yeah, AM Stereo Radio

Message Detail:
Was just looking in Bob's store with his WITH (boy, that's some strange call letters) airchecks, where it mentions AM stereo. I had to find out what it sounded like, so I bought a Sony Walkman that received AM Stereo broadcasts, many moons ago. With what little actual broadcasts there were, it sounded pretty nice, but tuning and signal strength were both critical! The nearest AM Stereo radio station was 1060, KYW, all news though. The stereo commercials sounded nice! :-)

Hey, Bob, you have any idea when FM/FM Stereo became popular? Early '70's, maybe?
