Subject: NAME THIS SONG PLEASE!!!!!

I'm guessing this song is from the 60s or 70s...i cant remember any words only the melody...it was a slow/melodic type song and this is how it went (its possible that these were actually part of the lyrics): LA LA DE LA DE LA LA LALA LA DE DA DE LA LA LA LALA LALA LA DE DA LA LA LA LA LA LALA...ETC i know this doesnt help much but if you know the song it should ring a bell...i think it was sung by a female...thanks!!
