Bob: Great news about the logs!

Bob said: "You know how I love my stereo".
You and me both, Bob! As one person on the 'net once said "It's like hearing the song for the very first time, when (finally) heard in stereo". I couldn't agree more.

Don't mean to change topic, nor congest this board, but I must toss a couple songs your way:
The Showstoppers "Ain't Nothing But A House Party"
The Bandwagon "Breaking Down The Walls Of Heartache"

My ears salivated with delight when I heard the former song in true stereo. Unfortunately, it was a incorrect mix, with backing vocals and hand-clapping barely audible. Checked two CDs that had this song in stereo, both fail to match the monophonic mix. Still nice!

The latter song I had on a '68? Epic Records LP, in Stereo. I thought was a real common LP, since I easily found it (around late '80's) in Goldmine Magazine (records collector mag'). I've searched the world over for this song (or Epic LP), in stereo, on CD, and continue to be disappointed with monophonic. I'm not looking for a LP "rip" (as I believe one web site has a bootleg CD), but mastered from the original session tapes. Great song, though! Oh, if you know of Johnny Johnson (of The Bandwagon) whereabouts, a UK radio station is looking for contact info.

Oh, well. I'll stifle myself now :-)
