Subject: RE: Pop Music Question

Message Detail:
Very interesting observation.

The music business is rife with fascinating stories surrounding rights to original recordings, why years and even decades pass before they are made again available and re-released.

Remember Allen Klein's stranglehold on all of the original Cameo-Parkway singles?

The original 'Thinking of You' by Loggins and Messina has yet to appear on a CD that is true, and did you know that several versions (alternate takes) of that song have been released on 45?

Good stuff John.
