Jim: Excellent post (information)!! Thank you! Yes, it's really difficult to believe what is written! Like, after you know who wrote that Pet' Clark's recording(s) were "live" (even mentioned on Wiki'), I find backing tracks. I point the individual to the backing tracks - dead silence after. But, I have to admit, even though she didn't reply to this song (no input), Sandie did previously reply after I applauded her Girl Don't Come - "Well thank you very much kind sir". So nice! Just like to know where the Tom Jones out-takes are?! What bothers me about radio - Songs like Girl Don't Come are familiar to me, even my sisters, and other music friends. But, it's like they didn't exist to (current) radio hosts, especially in and around Philly. Like to chat more, but off to my next Top 40 oddity mission! :-)
