John Lennon, in this song, insults "Chairman Mao". Maybe Mao didn't like the British. Mao is one of the primary reasons why China is so powerful today. I admire what he accomplished. I personally have nothing against the Chinese. Even my young co-worker who recently came from China is a dear friend, and as I told him, "China lost a good man when you left". |
