Actually, it is quite a good show, but it is increasingly common in the UK where as far as I can see, the shows are made by private (non-BBC) studios, and sold on to the BBC. I think that some of the shows are "presented" rather than scripted by the stars, and some times it shows! Suzi Quatro presented a very good BBC show for several years (she may still be doing it), and I presume the fact that a "name" is presenting it, helps the indie company to sell it to the BBC much easier. However, the best oldies show by far on the BBC is the one presented each Saturday morning (at 8am), by Brian Matthew. His career with the BBC started in 1954 (he is now 84) and when you hear those "Live At The BBC" tracks by The Beatles, Eddie Cochran etc. etc., he is the guy who did those back in the 60's.
