No, I'm not from Philly, but the Kit Kats record I remember very well. In early '66 it got a lot of airplay on my hometown Top 40 station, WINX in Rockville, Md. Always felt the falsetto vocals sounded a bit goofy but the whole thing with its Left Banke-ish baroque underpinning is tuneful and unforgettable. My brother and I both loved it. And naturally I remember "Tongue" because it was not merely an R&B hit but a solid nationwide Top 20 smash in late spring '71. I don't recall ever hearing the middle record in the list, so I never got on The Bandwagon. Hey, as Meat Loaf put it, 2 out of 3..... Jeff
