Personally, the way I see it, we cleaned the slate of our parents favorites, so there was every opportunity for a great variety of new ideas to try ('50's-'60's). As I saw it in Joel Whitburn's books, some different versions of the same song basically charted at the same time - radio, for R&R, Pop, Soul, etc., was still young.

Radio, today, is primarily YUCK. So many amateurs in radio, so little great music to select from. Actually, FM radio is slowly turning into Talk Radio, sort of like AM did. It may hold no/liitle value soon!

Thanks, Bob!

Best,
John
