Subject: The Grassroots - The River Is Wide

Message Detail:
They collected a lot of Top 40 hits, but failed to make #1. I assume, this was due to lack of touring. Let's face it, if they toured, they'd have to drag around a lot more musicians to play horns, strings, keyboards, etc..

Anyway, a favorite song of mine, but not a favorite how it was recorded...
