For the most part, what Billboard published as songs that made Top 40 is close. However, I question the other Top 40 hit songs, like, from The Outsiders, that charted, that I never heard of. Also, what actually charted is questioned by myself, like, the "single" versions I later collected on CD, sound too strange to my ears, but the LP album version is more familiar. That's why I was glad to see some radio stations, even in 1964, were playing LP albums. So, what actually charted is and always be a mystery!!! John
