Believe it or not, they had a new album out this year. Sorry, I meant last year. Had no idea anybody remembered them - the guy that founded them back in 197whatevr, is still with them, and they are apparently huge in Holland. What that means I have no idea! But I would not mind being huge in Holland myself. To be honest, until your clip, I could not recall what the track sounded like. Nice one though. John wrote.... Don't think it charted in the UK (Alan?) because of a problem with pressing the 45 singles. Jim replied.... It sort of charted - not too sure about the pressing of singles, but it seems to have done far better everywhere else. But they're still in business! One hit record yonks ago, and there is still a career there for somebody. I should have tried harder. Could have been big in St Helena if I'd put my mind to it. |
