I did not move to Ireland. I am Irish! Born and bred here. And proud of it!

As for the Real McCoys....I am not sure but it seems it ran in the USA between 1957 and 1963.

Television came to Ireland in 1962 so we never got to see a lot of the 50's American shows.

We were lucky to get to hear American records, as the only radio station in the entire country was state-owned, and they did not like Rock & Roll.

Luckily, we could pick up the BBC, and best of all, Radio Luxembourg and the AFN American Forces Network, so I got to hear Alan Freed every Saturday night from New York, which started my love for American rock and pop.
