I got into rock when I went to see "Rock Around The Clock" around 1956 (yes I know it came out earlier in the USA but I was 3,000 miles away - in Ireland, and somebody probably had to send it over by canoe).

Anyway, loved it since, and have been lucky enough (or old enough) to see a lot of those I admired live, including Bill Haley, The Beatles, Fats Domino, The Crickets (sadly without Buddy Holly), Roy Orbison, Gene Pitney, the 4 Seasons and many others.

Not enough came to Europe (and even fewer to Ireland) in those days, so we treasured those we got to see.

Hopefully, this website will retain its former glory.

Thanks to John for his email hoping I had enjoyed "the holiday". (By that I presume he meant "Thanksgiving"?).

Sort of unknown feast over here I am afraid, but trust that John and Bob had a ball.
