Message Detail:
The co-writer of so many early rock classics passed away Monday at the age of 78. He and partner Mike Stoller wrote hits for artists as diversived as Elvis, Dion, The Drifters, The Coasters, Peggy Lee, and Steelers Wheel. Another of rock's pioneers gone to rock and roll heaven.
