Allow me to tell you a short story, sort of what you're going through.
Many moons ago, I heard an ending of a song, I think, on WPEN, 610, AM, one evening, while
in my car. I had no idea of the title, year, or even the artist. All I
knew, it was a white female, and "tonight I'll say a prayer for you my
love", was part of the lyrics, and I loved the ending that was so
familiar to me. I went YEARS trying to find more information, via record
stores, music catalogs, etc.. This was the days before internet. Along
came the internet, followed by Napster. I decided to try Napster, JUST to see if I could locate this song. After a few weeks of trying, it finally hit me. It was Eydie Gorme!!! I think that's such a wonderful song :-)
