The Ravens did precisely what I hoped they would not do. Short dinky passes, Jamal runs, and going to the bakery too many times (4 turnovers) was certainly a recipe for an early exit from the tournament. When Billick ran out the clock late in the first half rather than try for a field goal, that pretty much told me the deal was done.

As far as the Seahawks are concerned, they played a brilliant game. They just couldn't finish the job. I knew they were going to give a good effort and that they would score. I sensed with about 3 minutes to go in regulation that in spite of Shawn Alexander ripping off 10 yeard chunks of yardage, it just wasn't going to go Seattle's way.

In fact, I picked wrong on all four games.

I'm thankful I've never had a gambling addiction.

Bob
