Jim. Thanks so much for your awesome reply!! I read it this morning but didn't have time to reply. I just went on the computer to check the weather really, and took a quick look here. I deliver mail, I have a mounted route, which means I drive up to the mailboxes all day in my truck, with the steering wheel and everything on the right side. And all day I listen to Oldies from my mp3 player with external speakers. It's amazing how things work out sometimes. You mentioned the legendary Dick Biondi, and I swear to God Almighty the very next thing I had on my mp3 player to play today was a 1960 aircheck of Dick Biondi from Buffalo's WKBW, which might just be the greatest Top 40 radio station in the history of the 50 states! Judging by the songs, it had to be January of '60, since by June at the latest he was in Chicago, where he worked most of his career. What a great day! Thanks again Jim. You da man!!! |
