Dead right. Valiant was set up by the songwriter Barry DeVorzon (of Barry & Tamerlanes fame + lots of TV themes like "The Young & The Restless" + "Dreaming" for Johnny Burnette).

He sold it to Warners around 1967 although Warners had been distributing the label since the day it was set up anyway.

I have around a dozen Valiant 45s in my collection - I liked Barry & The Tamerlanes in particular, and of course everybody liked The Association.
