Message Detail:
I once told a record company they should release the individual session
tape tracks, and let people mix 'em as they please! Who cares what some
mixing expert mixed, is that the ONLY way we should admire a song? Heck
no!!! But, no, no one took me seriously, as usual!!! Well, let me tell
you a story before it happens. You'll begin to hear a lot of strange
mixes in the near future on radio and elsewhere!! Be prepared!! Here,
the bass, the drums, and vocals only, mixed as I wished!! It's crude,
but it's just a fast example!! Once you get good, you can pan audio side
to side and add special effects, psychedelic like, like the big boys do/did!

Imagine if your mix is superior to what is commonly heard. Your radio
show listeners, including the record company, will think you're a mixing
genius!!! You can confuse your listeners, thinking you're playing a very
rare quadraphonic mix or early Take!!! Or maybe conduct a contest and
have callers try their own vocals, selecting the best, karaoke like!! Or
mix those narrow stereo song to wide stereo, like the good ol' days!! It
has endless possibilities!!! I personally think it's an excellent way to
market music!!!

How is this done? Well, I'm sure you heard of RockBand, where YOU get to
play the (electronic) instrument(s) of choice, or even sing to popular
songs!! Some clever person extracted the individual tracks, since they
are all included!! And with the audio editor, you can mix to your
heart's content!!! Maybe car manufacturers will even offer four, six,
eight channels, so you can have true 360 degree sound! Octaphonic!! Get
lost in the music! Ray Dolby won't like it, it'll make his synthetic
stuff obsolete!!!

And those stuck in the mud record companies who only release the Mono
versions, will release their session tracks to increase sales!!! You can
even be like Alan Parsons and remix his mixes, since he thinks he's good!

Actually, I would like to get the drum hardware and show off my drumming
talent!!! You can do that, too, for your radio listeners! :-)

Any, without further ado, The Rolling Stones. A little over a minute
long!...

Best,
John
