Strings added (dubbed) on 02/07/1961, though the basic song, Take #7, was recorded the month before! Was surprised to see a female running Scepter Records! She self promoted their material, even in Philadelphia, where a DJ even asked a black promoter to wait outside, until she was through. She felt bad, but noticed this black promoter handled himself professionally and offered him a job at her record company. But the black fellow was trying to get his own Motown Records started!!
