My guess, no. Rented studios wherever it was convenient.
But I'd have to hear other Candence artists recordings. BRAG: I pride myself with being able to approximate a year of a recording, due to advancements in recording technology. I surprise myself!

I'm of little use when it comes to Holly or Crickets.
But there are other "bodies" who represented a group, that had nothing to do with the hit recording.
