Footnote: Was amazed at what I could find sitting in the CD budget bin at a chain of food stores. MANY imports! Some multi-disc CDs were packaged so nicely, looked like books! No cheap production! Never heard of the artists.
Would find US artists with ALL their Top 40 hits on one CD, while US ones were incomplete, to sell more! Even found the Kinks (2) CD set there, and only to be marketed in Thailand(?). Found Neil Sedaka CD from Italy! How I discovered what hits were in the UK, from UK marketed CDs!
Some demand a decent price, online. Some say food stores play the best selection of past songs! Where I rediscovered "Yeh, Yeh", by Georgie Fame (thought it was Alan Sherman! LOL!). Used to be a pleasure hunting for the CDs, until CD sales fell, and the WHOLE WALL(s) of CDs was reduced to a small cart :-(

Best,
John
