Personally, I'm kinda disappointed in this week's JB tribute--it just scratches the surface. It would take maybe three programs to play every one of his records that made the Top 40; that's how many hits he had. I was looking forward to hearing forgotten gems like "Bring It Up," "I Don't Want Nobody to Give Me Nothing," "Soul Power," and his other two "Popcorn" charters. The one I really want to hear, though, is "Ain't It Funky Now" with its more loping groove and staccato brass bridge. Why don't you feature a more comprehensive and thorough tribute like that to the Godfather--he deserves it and you can't refuse!!
