Loved the Gene Pitney tribute - he was also a great songwriter having penned "Rubber Ball" for Bobby Vee, "Hello Mary Lou" for Ricky Nelson and "He's A Rebel" for the Crystals. I did a few interviews with him for International Songwriters Association and also for radio in Europe and in one of the interviews - at http://www.songwriter.co.uk/page71.html - he talks about the songs he wrote for others. Very nice patient guy - loved the business and very knowledgable about lots of other stars. A true gentleman.
