To my (admittedly) jaded ears, the test show does not seem to be an improvement - in fact, I think it may actually be worse. I played Mellow Hits against a show of four weeks back, and the sound now seems a lot muddier. Up to a few programmes back, the sound was fine - but something has gone pear-shaped. But Bob's voice is still great, and the music choice is as usual superb - its just the sound. (Or perhaps having spent a lifetime in the music biz, I need a new pair of ears!)
