"Funny enough, I did not mind that muffled sound when U.S. Bonds came out with "Quarter To Three", but the Satins sound a lot better on the "Aisle" song."

I once heard an interview with Gary Anderson (Gary U.S. Bonds) in which he said that they recorded Quarter To Three in a garage while intoxicated. I guess that would make Gary and his band the first garage band, a term made popular in the 60's....LOL
