Never heard of TAMI show, though, like you, others have mentioned it. I watch little TV, these days. There was a TV show, sort of like Bandstand, maybe late '60's, but focused on black music and artists. Classy show with dancing; had to wear suit/tie to get in. Some very famous black artists appeared on the show, but, sadly, the broadcast tapes are nowhere to be found! James had a unique stage act, from the handkerchief dropping to his cape!

Never did listen to much of James singles, because not many radio stations I'd listen to featured them. But I find the one below very nice, first time I heard it, the softer side of James. Nice sound quality, too!..
