What a countdown! Almost every song in this list of 40 were either or would be one of those songs that you would be hearing on the radio many years later.
Trivia - one of the songs, Time Has Come Today, at the beginning is the sound of a cuckoo clock and a cowbell. Several other hit songs have had cow bells (Mississippi Queen, We're An American Band, Low Rider, Honky Tonk Women, I'm A Man - Chicago version) that I can think of just off the top of my head. Was there ever another song that used a cuckoo clock? If so, I sure cannot think of one!
