1)The first type is radio wannabee's who have never really worked much in radio, and can satisfy their desire to be a 'radio personality' by sitting in front of a mike and a few pieces of equipment, and broadcasting 'to the world'
2)The second type are those who have worked in radio a major part of their lives and have become 'obselete' because they couldn't adjust to the new realities of commercial radio or maybe they just became 'too old'.

By listenting to you and your vast understanding of 'Oldies' music, I would say without question that you fall into the latter category. You have that broadcasting voice. I'm not guessing at this but say this because I to have spent a good part of my life in radio on the East Coast, and about the beginning of the 90's, I too became 'obselete'.

I say keep up the good work, you're providing a good service to people that treaure music from the era, and giving yourself a good ego boost in the process. And as anyone who has been in radio for any period of time knows, we do have ego's that constantly need stroking.
