Message Detail:
Bill, Jim: That was just MY guess. I figured during the transition to R&R music, radio stations had to adapt to this new format. Some hesitated, some didn't. I was shocked to find, early (local) FM radio stations played classical music! I forget the songs, but maybe "I'm On Fire" may have charted twice and also that One Tin Soldier song, as well as that Coke Commercial song (not Bob Crewe's), or is it Pepsi, but, you know, I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing In Perfect Harmony!

Confusing, ain't I? :-)

Best,
John
