That is almost too funny Larry! The Indy station that played the oldies also was changed to the Jack format. The only thing resembling a human is the recorded voice between songs that always says "we play what we want to". I thought radio was for the listeners? The local oldies station did have a morning team, but they also did interviews with oldies artists, some live in studio if the artist was performing in the area, as well as classic television stars. Too bad they no longer exist. It would be a great outlet for Bob to be interviewed to promote this great web site.
IMHO, Clear Channel helped to ruin commercial radio. I am not an employee or jock like Bob, just a listener who grew up listening during the heydays of top 40 radio.Bill
