Message Detail:
Hello Will.

Thanks for listening and visiting the site. After reading your letter, I went out and listened to the on-demand programs and they worked fine.

Your problem is likely that somehow, another media player has supplanted windows media player as being your 'default', or 'automatic' player. For one thing, when you click on the file to play it, the windows media player should pop up and start playing the file immediately. If a 'download' icon pops up, that means another player (real player, quick time, etc.) is your default player.

Perhaps the simplest way to remedy the problem is to download the windows media player (note link at the top of the Ultimate Oldies home page). Another way to do it is to go to your settings, then go to control panel, then to 'add/remove' programs'. Open up the list of programs and if you see real player there...or quick time...remove it/them. That will automatically make the windows media player your default player and you should be good to go.

I hope that helps. Thanks much,

Bob Mathers
