Seems like these types of exchanges always get off on the 'holier than thou' defense. Walt apparently has a desire to keep things clean. Because any one person wants to protest and contest profanity, shock, and general unedifying garbage produced in media of any kind...does that make him or her 'holier than thou'? Also...the first ones to defend their 'right' to broadcast obscene subject matter...because they use the argument 'if you're offended, then just turn it off'...are the same people who would NOT laugh if someone took that same language and 'humor' approach and went to work on them personally with it. Now would they, Cholly? I don't mind if folks promote another oldies show or oldies site on here. Others do it from time to time and that's cool. I will say however, that if someone posts profanity or attacks another person, the post is coming down and the offender will be asked to take it somewhere else until he or she learns how to post comments with all proper decorum. This is a site for memories, making friends, and having fun. Let's please keep it that way. Thanks, Bob |
