Hi John

The original version by the Valentinos(Bobby & brothers,Cecil,Curtis,Harris & Friendly Jr) charted at no.72 in 1962 on SAR 132.
Neither the Valentinos or Bobby Womack had any chart success here in the UK,but Cecil & his wife Linda(Sam Cooke's daughter)charted at No.14 as Womack & Womack with "Love Wars" in 1983,"Teardrops" at No.3 in 1988 & " Celebrate the World" at No.14 in 1989
